Since I haven't uploaded my photos (and therefore have not written the captions = an empty blog post still), it will keep piling up.XD

One week after the trip..
Woke up late today, >_< [I hate waking up late on weekends though because there is so much I'd like to do....o_O]
Things I wanted to do: oil paint(s'been more than a year), sketch (s'been a year.T_T), play the guitar (s'been months.=/), sketch more o_O, read a book, watch the pending j-dramas I bought last year just before my trip, clean my room, play on my ps2 (have not abused it much since I got it yeaaars ago...) sort my photos, view my photos :P, write a blog post, organize the stuff in my room because it is a huge mess.>_< Haha.
But I ended up doing something else.XD
Spent the whole afternoon going over the brochures and flyers I got from Barcelona and Paris.:P

-
Got this from a French bookstore, its magazine features japanese manga..

-
This is the book I purchased and a magazine happens to feature this very author too..

-
J'aime bcp les illustrations de Penelope Bagieu! :D Bought books 1 and 2 of Josephine (will post photos later:P). Ici c'est son nouveau livre, mais je ne l'achete pas...peut-etre quand j'y vais la prochaine fois.XD Heh.

~
I love that French bookstores are chuck full of BD's! O_O Also saw Maliki's books, lots of them, were very expensive and didn't buy.:P Was looking for a certain BD artist's work, but seems this artist is not that popular, went to two bookstores and didn't find it.:P But most of the other BD artists I know of were there.:O

-
A poster I've been seeing a lot in Paris, will watch this when it becomes available for download.:P

-
Laduree thingies from my purchase.:P

-
Bought a Tolkien book - LOTR: Return of the King in french.:P (I have it in English too so would be very convenient if I were to use it to study.:P)

Was a used book and unlike the others, this was in bad shape.>_< But considering I will only be using it to study, plus I wouldn't find it here anyway, I bought it.>_<

Should be easy to mend, since I've mended quite a few books already.:D
-
I got this one with a magazine in Barcelona, (the magazine is with my sis right now...n_n;)

It has pretty neat pages inside, :P Used to keep planners like this, thinking it would be such a waste to use it.>_< But I think I will use it to write a bit about my day, for all of the days that are in this planner.:P [whether I will be able to keep this up for 365 days, I don't know. :P.. have decided I should write my entries here in Spanish.]
-
A look at the other books I bought in Paris (some of the mangas do not have a cover page, :O but they were VERY CHEAP.>_<)

Shopping Spree!
Since I came back from my trip, everything feels so cheap here! :O
Well, have bought a bunch of stuff yesterday. ^_^
-
First, this one, was a great find.:D

and some more:

It comes in pink and blue, but since I already have a lot of pink in my closet, picked the blue one for a change.:D
~
Also purchased some keyrings and strappu~:
Just the other day, was browsing Betty Autier's blog, among them, were doughnut-shaped Hello Kitty straps from her trip to Japan.:D
*
*
What I found instead were mickeyXminnie straps, with a similar idea.:P

I love keys like these! But this is a disney-inspired one.;P the thought that came to mind almost instantly was Kingdom Hearts.:P

A choco-bear, with a cute face.;P *プッ二・プッ二*

~
A closer look at the lil brown bear:

Also got myself a mini lion plushie.:D

~
And more photos...
Lion X Bear

Very cute tail.:P

(This photo taken with my mobile.:P)

Lion plushie with a cupcake keyring.:3

Choco bear with one of the photos I took from my trip.:P

How the minnie-doughnut-strappu would look on my phone...

~
Well, that's pretty much it for now.:D Shall go sort my photos again.o_O
A look at the memory cards I used... [First three were from my Nikon D90, the other half were from my Canon SX110is, plus I have some more from my Samsung s8300 (mobile), and some from my PSP-camera (used this to upload to twitpic).]

à plouche~~! ;)

Barcelona - entry 004
We stopped by here for some Tapas, [was quite full from eating 4.5 meals on our 20-hour flight! .5=snacks.>_<; and from sleeping a lot too!]

The interior looks something like this downstairs:

-
Some food you can nibble on..

I thought I took a photo of everything but it turns out I didn't take a photo of the ones on the other side....
-
Couldn't get a good shot of this with auto,

and it looks bad with flash.

This sangria was high on alcohol and less on fruity content.=_=
We ended up not finishing our drinks.>_< Was feeling woozy halfway through. [but definitely helped me get some good sleep on my first day despite the time difference! xP]
-
My first self-timed photo on my Nikon... Haha. It is so easy to set up the self timer on the D90.>_<

Thank you Rob and Mandy! XD
-
The rest of the place looks like this:

-
This part looks really cool.

-
The bartender gives us something more to drink before we leave...

Haha, it looked pretty strong so only took a sip.>_<
Was orangey-gingery, and sweet. Not bad... [But any more and I'm at my limits.n_n;]
-
It turns out Rob and Mandy lives right across our hotel, literally. -_-
[Have always been curious how these apartment buildings look like on the inside! Is interesting to go inside one.XD Different from what we normally have here.]

So before heading back, we went to see Rio (their cat),

[Holaaa Rio!]
...who was soooo adorable and seemed very happy to see us! :D
[It liked gnawing at my sister's boots too. Haha.]
I do not know much about cats, nor have I had much experience about / encounters with them, but this is one friendly and playful cat.>_<
-
We also had some tea and got to taste some freshly-baked blueberry goodness by Mandy!:D
[Nothing beats strong warm tea and sweets!]

Scrumptious!:P
Thanks to Rob who took this photo of us! (...and hope you enjoyed your holidays in Strassbourg!)
