Christmas in Prague

Prague is one of the cities I visited during the holidays. And here is the Old Town with its festive Christmas displays and markets.

[a larger photo on my photoblog @ SNAPPERONI.blogspot.COM.]

I took the GoProHero3+ on this trip and it is super handy! I love the wideness of the photos. :3 The video quality is amazing too! XD The only downside being -- the battery lasts about half a day with continuous usage / standby mode. So I charge it whenever I can.

Souvenirs at some of the stands.

The huge Christmas tree in the middle of the square.

And myself, with more photos from the city.

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season. I sure enjoyed mine.

Happy New Year! :3

Frohe Weinachten

Headboard at the hotel I'm staying at in Vienna. It has a very cool, odd, and crazy concept. The circus-y playful feel is everywhere and whoever came up with it is just genius!

But more importantly, the reason why I'm posting from my phone --  merry christmas everyone!! :D

Skaters at Neptunenbrunnen @ Alexanderplatz, Berlin

Planning this year's trip has made me look back to last year's and here I thought I'd post something from Berlin.

This is a Weihnachtsmarkt (Christmas Market) in Alexanderplatz. The structure behind it is Neptune's fountain.

People watching skaters go by. If I could skate I'd bring my own pair and jump right in.XD [..but I don't.n_n I've only ever ice-skated once, in Hong Kong many years back.:3]

People zooming past. The fountain is all iced up, and they are going around in circles endlessly.XD

---

On another note, changing itinerary this year, going with München-Wien-Firenze. With some train travels in between. I hope this one works out.:D

When in Madrid :: 20121228 Strike - Alfon Libertad

When in Madrid,

do witness a strike at Puerta del Sol
.
(I kid, I kid! XD)

...

But here are some I filmed while I was there, it was a protest on some wrongly accused guy who's in prison for his actions, and people think it's unjust (I am not entirely sure, sorry, I hardly ever watch the news or read the papers.XP)

As if the strikes in the country where I live are not enough... XD

...

This guy voices out his opinions..

Did you know he was featured in one of the spanish documentaries about people in the streets? XD

...

How Sol looks in the evening, it's packed with people.

...

I hope you liked the videos. I had to climb barricaded fountains // metro railings to get these.XD

...

More people.

Was a mix of locals, tourists, people on strike, a lot of street vendors, and shoppers (due to the proximity of numerous shops).

Where the people have gathered for the protest..

A closer look..

What they were raving on about..

And from the police-point-of-view..

...

Lastly, the Christmas tree at Sol... :3 (hehe, awfully late to be posting something christmas-y! :P)

I hope everyone enjoyed their holidays as much as I did! (^_~)V
