おひさしぶり～



That looks incredibly yummy, eh?

It had to dry for two nights and this is the end product.

Sad to say it is rock-hard and inedible though! ღღღ(♡´∀`)

Monday last week:

Lumpia, and a very delicious one at that too! (from our relatives)



I miss my grandmother's homecooking. She used to make this a lot and I love it. Most of her cooking she's passed on to the maids at my auntie's home, and they were the ones who made this. It's not as good as what my grandmother used to make for us, but I love it anyways.

Tuesday last week

I made カレーライス again. :P Somehow this time it reminds me Shirotan.>_<


A lot of carrots in this photo... there are a load of other stuff in there but I love carrots so I picked them all out.


I had some mango chutney mixed in this time and the result is amazing.xD


I do plan to make some more soon. Haha.

Friday last week

Instead of studying japanese I spent the whole morning making these:




It's all in one colour since it was what I had with me at that time. I did not know how much dough a half cup would result to though and had a lot of excess sunny yellow dough.xD


The materials aren't very expensve though so if I mess up halfway through molding (like cracks, or in rare cases the whole thing falls apart, etc) it feels alright to throw them away.:)


There are ways to fill in the gaps though when cracks do appear. But keeping it in raw condition, it wouldn't look good with the cracks on them.

SnowmEn. For it is easier to roll them into a ball and put them together.:D




I think it is challenging to work with small things. (although these are not uber-miniature)

Leaving them to dry for the rest of the day, and occasionally flipping them over on their sides. (not sure if I should be doing that! :O).




I used a star-shaped stencil for this one, and sprinkled some pastel-coloured goodness on it.




This is incredibly easy to make, and it looks great too. (at least I think so..)




Thought I'd leave them on my window to dry...

Just had dinner a while ago.. :P Remember me saying I might make some croquettes today?

The preparation: Mashing the potatoes, mixing in some yummy flavours.

Plain/ Curry/ Basil+Butter





Beautiful colours...The orange one is curry.:)



But those flavours aside there were also Salt&Pepper, Mayonnaise, and oh, I was so tempted to squeeze Wasabi into one of them! Hahahaha. (I didn't though~ But it'd have been fun to see someone's expression when they bite into it.xD)

And here's the yummy goodness fried to a crisp! :D



The plain ones went well with Mango Chutney.

It was so much fun biting into them coz it's when you find out what it's filled with.:D

I only used two large potatoes but I'm sooooo full.*_*

Is it weird I'm blogging on a Saturday night? >_< It is going to be a boring weeeeekend.=( (But I don't feel like going into details because it's going to spoil my mood if I do...) .......And I'm having a major headache to add to that.-> not so much now but it was so bad earlier in the afternoon. (Is it the heat or was today not a very good day to start with?! ToT).

When I think back to this morning I was in a great mood.. Went to class, did a bunch of grammar and kanji, had almond clusters and milk during the break, lent some Japanese dorama cd's to a friend (one of them being an earlier series played by Reira's P♥), Drooled over Yuu-sama's photos on my phone ♥ (err..Actually I did not have enough credits to sms anyone and with nothing better to do......), came home, had leftover curry for lunch...And the day carried on like any other day (+ the bad headache).

but yesterday's events..... =| <= This is me thinking it is better to keep my mouth shut..(?) ~ Alrighty, on to happier things, and my lovely plushie collection:

Thought I'd share this bowl of カレーライス with everyone.

This is my own rendition of curry, and I think it's SOOO GOOD.



I hope this photo looks appetizing enough.(?!)

It's 90% VEGETABLE and 10% CHICKEN. i just dumped all of my favourite vegetables in, plus some fresh herbs. (No dried herbs this time :D). I love the curry I make because it is healthy, do note I take the skin and fats off the chicken prior to cooking.xD So there's hardly any oil in it (And yet it's tender and firm altogether).

Yipes, now I'm talking curry. Haha.

I made banana chips earlier when I got home (oh, what a treat :D).

And it finished up quickly coz everyone dug in.=(

(I wanted to eat more.:O)

Tomorrow I'm making potato croquettes (If we don't order in some pizza.xP), and if I'm not going out.
