Eurotrip's final stages

This year's trip is on to its final stages,

After the interview last week, and some days of waiting, I finally got my visa today!! :D

From last week, here's the building where the embassy is located:

Now I can officially start packing like mad! XD

Being random.. again

So I haven't booked my train tickets yet (seems I will only be able to buy tickets for December by 15 October.)

I have secured the papers I need and am anticipating my interview (which happens to be end of this week). ^~~^

We have another holiday on Tuesday and that pretty much gives me time to write my itinerary properly and mark my maps. XD

Too anxious to get this done with and will get back to posting when everything is settled. Haha. :P

Fried Salt and Pepper Pork



Shark's Fin Soup, and it we were served one claypot each!



Huge portions and honestly have never had any other shark's fin soup this good in a long time! :3



Yummy Skin (and very very unhealthy!) You're supposed to put this in a wrap with a few sticks of veg and some oyster sauce. (I have a habit of scraping the fats off -- sorry if people think I'm eating it 'ímproperly'!)

Wine and Tea! ...and a mix of soup and such.



Time for dessert! Dessert bowls in place.



A very typical dessert here, is Mango Sago, something with a mix of Mango juice and tapioca pearls. This is something along that line but with a few revisions.



It was Mango and tapioca pearls with an assortment of seasonal fruits.



Lastly, we were served Coffee and Cream Jelly.



The perfect ending to a very happy and filling meal. XD

Feeling unmotivated

The title says it all!

Have had to make so many calls this week and so many documents to gather. (mentally tiring, having to argue with people who cannot understand the concept of schengen -- just give me my damn insurance covering the whole region.-_-)


9/28 seriously need to write my itinerary + all those extra thingies to support my travel
10/3 book tickets
10/6 book train tickets! :O
10/18 interview day
10/25 hopefully will have my visa by this time
11/?? Finalize eveything.
12/?? Mark all the places I want to visit on my map. [Speaking of map I hope I find a better map of Munich because the one I currently have is just UGH.=_=]

I really don't like the anticipation part of planning (Europe-bound) trips.x_X

I just want my visa and start packing! ^~~^

Another reason for this depression is because Shane Filan is in the country and I'm not going to see him!!! T_T Hahha, people who know me from way back know how crazy I was about Westlife and Shane.XD He is currently promoting his first album as a solo artist.:3



The tickets this time include an album-signing + a meet and greet. And I am feeling so torn! :S If this was the case 5 years ago I would've bought the tickets in a heartbeat! :S The tickets are not too expensive, but I hardly spend on things like these now, plus I'll be going on a trip end of this year so I made a decision not to spend money on a whim....T_T

BUT....!

It is too late to buy the tickets now because the concert's tomorrow.:c

Skaters at Neptunenbrunnen @ Alexanderplatz, Berlin

Planning this year's trip has made me look back to last year's and here I thought I'd post something from Berlin.

This is a Weihnachtsmarkt (Christmas Market) in Alexanderplatz. The structure behind it is Neptune's fountain.



People watching skaters go by. If I could skate I'd bring my own pair and jump right in.XD [..but I don't.n_n I've only ever ice-skated once, in Hong Kong many years back.:3]

On another note, changing itinerary this year, going with München-Wien-Firenze. With some train travels in between. I hope this one works out.:D

New yarn, some quick update

Hello, these are the new yarn I've mentioned some time ago...XD Haven't gotten around to using any yet, but I'm excited to make something out of this!



At the moment I feel challenged to make a beret. Probably not so difficult, but for a beginner like myself..... Hmm, we'll see what it'll end up looking...;D

Knitting aside, it's September, and I'm one month or so away from finalizing this year's trip. :3

How does "München - Köln - Milan - Florence" sound? I can't wait to come back to Germany....XD And I look forward to visiting more cities.XD

I should take my German studies more seriously as well.n_n; And learn to read the menu because all I ever eat are sausages, pommes frites, schnitzel or bread! =_= Heh. Okay, once I tried to order something else, there was an elderly couple and I asked them what they were eating in German, because I wanted the same thing. :O I had them repeat the phrase for at least 3 times, until I finally almost got it, and they were so patient! XD It tasted so good but now I can't remember what it was.X_x

Finally finished watching all seven seasons of El Internado!

Now I'm watching El Secreto de Puente Viejo, and while I haven't found eps.72 onwards, will get started on El Barco / continue watching Gran Reserva.

I've gotten really hooked on ESDPV. :3
