Instant Curry, Eating out, Random stuff

Tried this curry a couple of weeks back..



It's another one of them instant-curry you can get from Japanese stores/ supermarkets.



And it's supposed to look like this.. (says the box)

This is a little different from the one I had last time. This one had too mcuh sauce but had some chunks of beef. Felt the potato was a little different too. The other brand I tried last time had nicer vegetable pieces inside.

So anyway, How about some real food? ;p



This is a restaurant we went to last week, serving japanese food.

A fusion of american and japanese (or so it says), these are served with mayonaisse and cream cheese.



These ones had salmon in them. But you can hardly see salmon in it.T_T""



Ah, this is one of my favourites, super soft tofu with those lovely-looking shrooms.

Here comes curry-omu-raisu, which I used to love. This time was alittle disappointed because it was chuckful of very dry chicken meat.T_T

I hate dry meat.T_T So I discarded them. But I ate everything else anyway.;P





These were shared among myself and two other people, ate more than what I normally have for dinner, and was extremely stuffed.>_<" But in a good way.:P

Last week have also started reading Tintin in Spanish. Have read these before in English so it was interesting to read it in another language. Unfortunately I do not have a copy in French...>_<

Have also played the guitar for at least an hour this weekend.:P



Usually practice on steel-string but I missed my nylon-string one and played on both.

It seems my guitar skills have gotten worse instead of better as I have not been playing regularly like before.

Have not perfected any of the songs I have been studying, but I feel like playing a new tune for a change, shall look for a couple of new easy pieces to study.;P

Also did a bit of binding. Not that I like it, but because it keeps my stuff neat, I go through the trouble of doing this.

Last week, I have started to watch "To Aru Kagaku no Railgun".

Have been meaning to watch for a long time now but was feeling lazy to look for the CD.:P



Anyway, this is the episode where I stopped last week,



Lol, thought this character is cute, with that hairstyle and all.

Think I should get a bigger screen in my room? But since my room is very small, have felt this is good enough.

Random stuff from the past couple of days

Decided to get some studying done earlier this afternoon.



My spanish textbook in the background (and French, upper right).

Was sewing a bag the other day when I decided to make myself some tea.



Wanted to try something different so I picked:



something that looked like this, with a bunch of funny ingredients mixed together in one bag.



And it tasted just like it said it would.

But not exactly my cup of tea, this flavour.

I think I will pick up some Earl Grey next time.

A Sparkly New Guitar + Stunning Skies

Was out to get myself a new guitar last night. (Heh, finally!!)

Extremely overjoyed by the thought of it. >_<

And here it is. xD



Did not get a strap for my guitar, I am making one instead. xD Will be going through scraps of clothing and stuff that I no longer use. Denim should make a good strap, eh?

Unfortunately the guitar I got has only one strap button along the base...

So I am still figuring out how to attach the other end.n_n" Would prefer not having another drilled into the neck part as it might affect the make of the guitar.

Have not played a steel-string guitar for quite some time now and my (left) fingers are sore from over-playing.>_<

Nylon strings are a breeze after getting used to steel-string. I have also gotten used to the classical guitar's wide neck and frets.. Lol. Since my old cheap acoustic one broke, I have been playing on classical which is still in great condition.


So I decided to do some finger exercise (which I never manage to finish as I get bored easily... and never get to play without mistakes! :P)

While looking for some picks to use (which I am not quite used to either as I prefer to do without it), I decided to take some photos:



The red one is a pick I got from when I first started playing.



The other ones I picked up from my travels, at least, when I happen to chance upon a music store.


This one is pretty cool..and I could never get myself to use this one.:P




Lol, and that's pretty much it for the guitar. Will probably post more next week. But for now I am taking a break as it won't do my fingers any good.:P

10 packs enough to last me for a week. Lol.
