Bought myself a decent-sized sketchbook and here is a page from it:

I think I found what I love to do best -- product illustrations.

One's overall mood greatly affects the quality of the work. There are days when I'm feeling forced to draw for the sake of practice and those always come out bad. Feeling forced or rushed to finish a work never works --in my case at least. I need to be calm, collected, focused.... and then there are those days when I have so much inspiration in me I feel like I can draw anything. But that doesn't happen often. :D

P.S. I am thinking about starting a youtube channel soon, to post videos of my drawing process with. :D Updates will be sporadic but I'm thinking it might be a good idea. Or do I have one too many accounts to keep up with now? XD

Clipper Teas UK

For the longest time there aren't any bio products in my city. There are tiny specialized shops with imported organic stuff but it's too expensive!



Well, this was also terribly expensive. As with all other teas. Yeah well, there aren't a lot of tea-drinkers here.

When I went to Germany, I was surprised at the wide range of bio products. Wow. And they were really quite affordable too.

I also bought Arabica Coffee from the same brand





So much tea!



Bought the classic English Breakfast.



Beautiful packaging!







It's like they put so much thought into every box of tea!



I bought my favourite flavours, Earl Grey, Masala Chai, Mint.... :3



I'm already thinking of cutting these boxes up and turn these spoons into bookmarks!



The perfect tea after a meal.



And I just love the beautiful flavour of Earl Grey.





I tried the coffee the next day.:D



It was so freaking good too.

Pocky Crush Matcha + Blendy Stick Matcha

Hello~~

Spent my weekend afternoon snacking on some Matcha (抹茶) goodies.

Bought this Pocky Crush Matcha from a Chinese supermarket (there was an influx of Japanese goods).





The biscuit inside is unlike a regular pocky stick.



It's coated with milk chocolate and flecks of matcha.

Coupled with Matcha Au Lait = LOVE.



This is AGF's Blendy Stick Matcha. Tastes really good. Would prefer it a little less sweeter than it is, but the flavour is quite nice otherwise. :3.

Avance Drip Coffee - Kilimanjaro Blend

Picked up some japanese goods from the supermarket the other day.

A lot of new stuff coming in. This was one of the things I bought.XD



It seems to be a pretty normal everyday coffee at only 19yen per cup! Here it costs more because I got it for 1.5x the regular price in yen.XD

There are 20 bags inside.



The top most part is cut off to allow the hot water in.

Fill it up and wait for it to drip and fill the cup.



Japanese ingeniuty is amazing. It fits most cups perfectly. So convenient.



The coffee smells insanely good. As soon as I opened the package the aroma filled the air.:P



The mere smell of it on a weekend morning waked my senses. XD

Can't wait to have more of this good stuff. :3

DRINK : Butterscotch Beer (Butterbeer)

I have always been a huge Harry Potter fan. I've tried stuff like Bertie Bott's all-flavour beans (which is amazing and has funny flavours like 'dirt' and 'sardines').

The only thing left to try was butterbeer. XD Anyway I came across one while shopping at an 'american-import' grocery and found this drink. Was damn expensive (more expensive than Guinness -which, by imported beer standards is also more pricey than other beers!).



I was looking it up and found that it included butter, cream soda,......
(I had high hopes!)



But I was disappointed to find it toooooo sweet. I cannot imagine how other people manage to finish the bottle!:O

It tasted like caramel, fizzy soda, and more sugar. I swore to never buy this drink again! Haha. XD

I ended up mixing it with cold water and some Jagermeister and found it wasn't so bad after all.

Cofee-goodness.

Picked up some coffee the other day from the supermarket.:P



I have yet to try this brand..:P I hope it's good.



And some UCC ones.

So we thought we'd try this one:
