New find: Studded jacket

Finally, a studded jacket, have been wanting something like this for awhile now!

(Excuse the poor lighting in my room..! XD)

Have not had an opportunity to wear this out yet... More like the sunny hot climate is not giving me any chance to...!

Twilight's Breaking Dawn - Criss-cut Fries and Grape Soda

Was quite a fan of Twilight (the books -- not so much the movie! >_<") They were selling this at a fast food chain, and I thought '...Something to blog about!'

Oh yum! :3

Robert Pattinson on your chips...why not! (Actually, I liked R.Patty more as Cedric in Harry Potter than as Edward in Twilight....XD)

This was the soda float, grape-flavoured.

Tasted quite pleasant and surprisingly not too sweet!

I want more of this~! :3

Hello Kitty Lipbalm

Came across this at a store today. So cute!

It doesn't smell as good as it looks, sadly. =_=

A closer look:

X3

-

I think I will use this to carry some of my other better-smelling lipbalms! XD

I love Fanta Grape from LipSmackers -- smells soooo good, and Apple from Lip Ice -- so minty!. Lip Ice is so soothing to use in the cold!:3 It moisturizes very well and that cool minty feel is just.. unbeatable!

The owl ring -- *hooot*

I have a ton of overdue photos, and this is one of those sets!

~

I bought this ring ages ago... (well, early this year! :P)

I love the colour, and how it sparkles a little under the light... *_*

Owls are so cute, and I just couldn't resist buying something so unique.
Perfect for everyday wear! XD

I just hope I don't lose this like I did with my other rings! :(

--

Let me recount the times I lost a ring:
(1) I lost a ring in America. I really loved the design, it was broad with crosses engraved on it.... T_T I lost it the same day I bought it! I wore it for about 4 hours while sleeping in the bus.XD Haha, funny thing was I even ran after the bus. Lol. How stupid I must have looked! :P
(2) Another ring that has my name on it. It didn't hurt much to lose this one because it was quite ordinary...
(3) I wore my favourite ring (the rocker-wannabe weed ring) and lost it in Japan! My guess is Kyoto or Toyohashi. I was groggy with an awful cold and couldn't remember! >_< I still had it while in Tokyo. I was very sad to lose it....!=S I wore it through good (and rough) times in University... Truth is I have been looking for the exact same ring but to no avail....=/

Have you ever lost something that means a lot to you?

Choco cupcake!

Eating a cupcake before bed~! XD

Have been busy keeping up with a load of UK, American, and Spanish drama lately and have not had time to write a post. n_n""

Also downloading a couple of Japanese ones (i.e. Aibou Season 11) to watch later! ;D

--

Started watching Paradise this week and loved it so so much! :3 I wish there were more dramas like this out there!

Well, I'm off to get myself some beauty sleep.

Bonne nuit!(~x~)

Hiyashi Soumen - perfect weekend

Some time ago, I picked this up at the supermarket...

(Left) It's soumen, made from buckwheat. // (Right) Shredded pieces of Nori.

-

I have found the perfect weekend brunch! X3

Looks good, doesn't it? (Well, to me it does! :D~)

...

The soumen I bought is divided into four, and this is enough for one serving! :P

I brought it to a boil just as you would with normal pasta, only this took about 3-4minutes (very fast!).

Wash it in cold water and set it aside.

...

About the dipping sauce,

I didn't have dashi stock... So I improvised and used dumpling stock. (heh!) Brought it to a boil with mirin (Note that I also didn't have mirin, instead I used Chinese cooking wine -- similar to mirin!), soy sauce, and vinegar (I think the vinegar brings out the sweetness of the soy sauce.).

The dumplings made a perfect siding!

I also added boiled egg, which came later, just so it wasn't so much a light brunch.

...

I should have taken a photo of the dipping sauce! (My bad! I was too excited to eat! >_<"")

...

If you're wondering what I topped the noodles with, it's Nori, and preserved chinese radishes with a hint of chilli.

((1) Preserved ginger would also make a good siding but I'm currently out of it! :P (2) Spring onions mixed in with the dipping sauce is also good, but was not able to buy some yesterday.XD -- Ah, so spur-of-the-moment!)

...

Maybe next time I should make this accordingly, but what the heck, it tastes marvelous. ;D

めしあがれ~~ ^_^

Hehe, who says you can't have Hiyashi Soumen in November?!
